Meet Our Director

Emily Savala, has worked in the early education field for a little over 20 years.  She completed her Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education at Fresno Pacific University. Through her years of experience in the field she has worked and partnered with programs that supported children with challenging behaviors and or special needs and specifically is well versed in social emotional development. She strongly believes that a child’s God given desire to learn happens best in a well facilitated environment, enriched with learning opportunities that allow time for children to explore and learn organically. The Director’s heart is to provide a loving and safe environment where children can experience Christ’s love and grace in their everyday experiences.

Mission & Philosophy of Learning

Mission Statement

Our Mission at Central Valley Church Preschool and Daycare is to provide children a safe and Christ centered learning environment where seeds of knowledge, ideas, and curiosities are planted and cultivated in age appropriate learning experiences. It is our desire to be good stewards, growing and edifying young learners with Christ’s love and grace.

Philosophy of Learning

Our philosophy of learning is a child led, relationship driven approach that gives space for children to co- construct their learning alongside teachers. We do this through relationship building, investigation, play and reflection. We honor each child’s unique learning journey by providing everyone the opportunity for growth at the level they are comfortable with. Our enriched learning environments  are open invitations for children to learn and explore on a daily basis. The areas of learning that we actively facilitate in our classrooms are as follows; social and emotional development, language and literacy, cognition, which includes math and science, visual and performing arts, which includes dramatic play, physical development and biblical foundations. At CVC Preschool we are committed to showing and connecting Jesus in all we do.
